My class has now been put into groups.

My group includes me, Marian and Peggy.

Marian is very good at organising work so she will be able to look after all of the papers that we need to keep safe. Peggy is good at making music and will be able to help us with making music for our opening sequence. I am quite good at drawing and will be able to draw the story boards.

Our group had difficulties deciding which idea to choose. We then decided to change our whole idea and genre.

We firstly chose an idea about a girl who wants to commit suicide and in the opening sequence her mum and dad would be arguing while she was with her boyfreind. Then her mother would take out her anger on her daughter and start to hit her. However we did like this idea it was too short to be a opening sequence. It also contained to much.. so if so much happened in the opening sequence no one would want to watch the rest of the film.

We did like the idea of suicide, and wanted to explore more about it..

Our new idea is about a girl who wants to commit suicide because she is struggerling with life and she cannot take life anymore. Our chosen genre was to do drama, as drama films have to do with life situations.

We also want to raise awareness about suicide and how it can effect people.

Our job allocations presentation:

A film that really inspired us was "Thirteen"
Its about a rebellious girl who takes drugs, has under age sex and drinks. In the begining she starts of innocent and we wanted to use that character in our opening sequence.
